Single-Story Classroom Buildings

The new, 7,200 square foot, kindergarten classroom building replaces aging portables at the Richard Crane Elementary School, part of the Cotati-Rohnert Park Unified School District.
JL Modular worked closely with WLC Architects of Emeryville, CA, on the design which features partition walls, to give educators a 21st century collaborative learning environment. Green features include state -of-the-art lighting and electrical systems, extensive daylighting and recycled materials used throughout the building.

Three building campus totaling 7,000 square feet. Features include a four-classroom building, admin building with teacher’s lounge, and multipurpose/gathering building with divider wall and warming kitchen. Buildings feature extensive green elements including clerestories and Solatubes for natural lighting.

Design-build delivery of a new 11,000 square foot STEM building including, Science, Biology, Chemistry and Construction Technology Classrooms. Included restrooms, science prep rooms, chemical storage, double loaded corridor, large covered outdoor work area and covered entry. Plaster and Hardie exterior finish with storefront windows, sunshades and built up roof.

The new Vicente-Briones School is 13,000 square foot building, serving the Martinez Unified Adult and Continuation Schools. The building features six classrooms, cafeteria with warming kitchen, offices for administration and outdoor eating and gathering space.

Construction of a 16,242 square foot school including a multi-purpose building and nine classrooms.

Two-classroom modular classroom building on an operating elementary school campus. Scope included concrete slab and associated sitework and construction of two 30’x32 Classrooms. Design was JL Modular’s DSA Prechecked classroom.

The new child development center consists of a new 6,650 gsf educational facility with a 3,500 square foot play yard that will serve approximately 40 children ages 3 to 36 months in four program rooms. The building is to be a one-story pre-fabricated modular structure built on a concrete slab. The prefabrication process will accommodate a compressed construction schedule. The project site, including the adjacent parking lot, will be re-contoured to facilitate construction, accessibility and emergency egress. At the University's request, the project is targeted for a LEED Silver certification.

Construction of two all new modern modular classroom buildings totaling 16,000 square feet which included 12 classrooms, a flex learning space and corridor, and restrooms.

Construction of two 1,280 square foot slab-on-grade modular kindergarten classroom buildings, including bathrooms and all associated site work.

Construction of three new classroom buildings totaling 3,840 square feet. Includes two standard middle school classrooms and a music classroom including a large band room, instrument storage and sound attenuated band practice room. Project includes LED lighting throughout and high efficiency HVAC systems.
