New Roseville School Will Feature JL Modular PRODIGi21 Classroom Design
Roseville City School District’s newest school, Riego Creek Elementary School, will be ready for students in 2020 thanks to JL Modular’s PRODIGi21 classroom design.
Originally slated for opening in 2022, Roseville moved its opening date to 2020 to accommodate an expanding student body. JL Construction was able to work with its Modular affiliate, JLM and Derivi Castellanos Architects (DCA) to accelerate the design and construction.
June Groundbreaking Ceremony
At the groundbreaking in June, the developer Westpark Communities and Roseville City School District praised the design-build team for its flexibility and ability to design the project and get it approved by the Division of the State Architect so quickly.
“We have worked diligently to ensure facilities are available to support the fast paced growth and we’re thankful for the vision of our partners, such as JL Construction, Westpark Communities and the City of Roseville, for making this expedited construction of Riego Creek a reality,” said Superintendent Derk Garcia.
Build More Quickly With
DSA-Prechecked Classroom Design
Riego Creek Elementary architecture, designed by DCA, will reflect an updated layout by designing all of its community-use buildings such as the library, office and multi-purpose room at the front of the campus. The school will also feature flexible learning spaces, indoor and outdoor learning communities, a single point of entry, perimeter fencing and an adjoining public park.
JLM’s PRODIGi21 DSA-prechecked classroom design is a state-of-the-art 21st Century Learning facility that can be built quickly through JLM’s proprietary prefabricated system. The design can be adapted for school portable replacement projects and new schools.
