Los Medanos Elementary School Classroom Building

In a significant upgrade to a growing California campus, a new two-story classroom building has been completed to replace aging portable classrooms. This state-of-the-art facility was designed to meet the expanding needs of the student body and provide a modern learning environment.

The new structure boasts 18 classrooms, strategically designed to accommodate various educational needs. It includes seven TK and Kindergarten classrooms, each with 1,200 square feet of space, and eleven standard classrooms, each 960 square feet. Equipped with contemporary amenities and restrooms throughout, the building ensures a comfortable and functional space for both students and teachers. This project was executed under a lease-leaseback contract, covering all aspects from design to completion, including site work and utility upgrades.

A key challenge of this project was its location within an active school campus. Building the new facility while school activities continued required careful planning and coordination to avoid disrupting daily operations. Through meticulous management and strategic scheduling, the project was completed on time, seamlessly integrating with the existing campus infrastructure.

This new classroom building exemplifies a commitment to modernizing educational facilities and enhancing the learning experience. It reflects a dedication to providing schools with efficient, updated spaces that support the evolving demands of education.
