Mabel Mattos Elementary School

Mabel Mattos Elementary School in Milpitas stands as a testament to thoughtful planning and design in response to the area’s growing student population. This innovative campus, designed by AEDIS Architects, consists of two interconnected steel-frame buildings spanning 19,258 square feet. The first phase of this ambitious project includes a two-story modular classroom building with eight classrooms and a two-story administration building. Additionally, all underground utilities have been installed to facilitate future expansion phases.

This modern educational facility is tailored to meet the needs of a rapidly expanding community, featuring versatile classroom spaces that incorporate breakout areas and alternative learning environments. The design aims to provide a flexible and engaging space for both students and educators, supporting a range of teaching and learning styles.

One of the notable achievements of the project was its completion ahead of schedule and under budget, demonstrating effective project management and a commitment to delivering quality infrastructure. Mabel Mattos Elementary School is poised to serve as a cornerstone for educational excellence in Milpitas, reflecting the district’s dedication to enhancing the learning experience for its students.
