North Salinas High School

The North Salinas High School construction project represents a significant transformation for the campus, replacing an aging portable classroom complex with a permanent, modern facility. By designing the two-story structure to act as a new main entrance, we provided the District with more than just added square footage; we created a welcoming gateway that connects the community to the campus while enhancing security and flow for students and staff.

The facility is engineered to be a multi-functional hub that centralizes critical student services. The first floor is designed for accessibility and support, housing a welcome lobby, health and administrative offices, and counseling centers alongside four dedicated special education classrooms. Uniquely, this level also features a specialized sports medicine facility equipped with a roll-up door, bridging the gap between classroom theory and practical application.

Rising above the administrative hub, the second floor is dedicated entirely to instruction, hosting 13 general education classrooms that provide bright, elevated learning environments. Completed in partnership with Derivi Castellanos Architects for the Salinas Union High School District, this project stands as a testament to our ability to deliver complex educational infrastructure that meets the diverse needs of modern student bodies.
