Old Adobe TK and Kindergarten Classrooms

The construction of a new permanent modular building at Old Adobe School District represents a significant step in meeting California’s educational mandates for early childhood classrooms. This facility was specifically designed to accommodate a TK classroom, two kindergarten classrooms, a Kids Care classroom, as well as essential restroom facilities and a common kitchenette. The design incorporates clerestory windows to maximize natural light, fostering a bright and inviting environment for young students.

JL Modular, known for its expertise in modular construction, worked closely with the architect and district to adapt plans to their DSA-prechecked design, ensuring compliance and efficiency. This project, marking JL Modular’s second endeavor with the Old Adobe School District, was completed on time and within budget. The new classrooms were ready for a school-wide grand opening, reflecting the district’s commitment to enhancing educational facilities and supporting early childhood education.

The project highlights JL Modular’s ability to deliver high-quality, functional spaces that meet both regulatory requirements and educational needs, contributing to a better learning experience for students and setting a standard for future projects in California’s growing educational landscape.
