Rex Fortune Elementary School

The Rex Fortune Elementary School stands as a testament to Roseville, CA’s commitment to addressing the educational needs of its expanding community. Named in honor of Dr. Rex Fortune, a distinguished former superintendent, this campus represents a significant advancement in local education infrastructure. The school was meticulously designed to meet the growing demand for student spaces in the area, featuring a state-of-the-art campus that includes six separate buildings and a total of 35 modern classrooms.

The facility includes specialized classrooms for TK and Kindergarten, general education, and STEAM subjects. Each classroom is equipped with advanced educational technology, including TV monitors, LED lighting, and floor-to-ceiling whiteboards, to enhance the learning experience. One of the standout features is the robotics classroom, designed with garage-style folding doors that open to outdoor learning spaces, fostering a dynamic and interactive educational environment.

Construction of Rex Fortune Elementary involved close collaboration between JL Modular, architect AC Martin, and site contractor Clark/Sullivan. By utilizing JL Modular’s DSA-prechecked designs, the project team was able to deliver this cutting-edge school on schedule, ready for the start of the 2023 school year. This project not only provides much-needed classroom space but also integrates modern design elements that cater to the evolving educational needs of students in a growing neighborhood.
