Riego Creek Elementary School stands as a testament to JL Modular’s expertise in delivering high-quality educational facilities on accelerated timelines. Located in Roseville, CA, the school was built to accommodate the city’s expanding population, providing much-needed infrastructure to support the community’s educational demands. The project, executed in partnership with JLC and DCA Architects, utilized the Prodigi21 DSA prechecked classroom designs, ensuring compliance with state regulations and enabling a faster construction process.
The campus is thoughtfully designed with six Kindergarten and TK classrooms, three learning community clusters organized by grade levels, and outdoor learning spaces featuring shade structures to enhance the learning experience. The school also includes 28 standard classrooms, each accompanied by restrooms and small group instruction rooms, reflecting a modern approach to education. The 4,000-square-foot multipurpose building, complete with a warming kitchen and stage, serves as a versatile space for school events, physical education, and community gatherings.
One of the project’s significant achievements was its completion within 12 months, thanks to a fast-track construction schedule that kept the project on time and within budget. This efficiency ensured that Riego Creek Elementary was fully operational for the start of the new school year, providing a seamless transition for teachers and students. The new school not only meets the immediate educational needs of the growing Roseville community but also serves as a long-term investment in the area’s future, offering a modern and adaptable learning environment for generations to come.
