San Pedro Elementary School New Classrooms and Modernization

JL Construction and its affiliate, JL Modular, recently completed a seamless expansion project for an active school campus. Despite ongoing school operations, the project introduced three new permanent modular buildings designed to enhance the educational environment. The focal point of the expansion is the new administration building, which features a reception area, offices, and faculty meeting rooms. Additionally, two new modular structures were built to accommodate three kindergarten and three transitional kindergarten (TK) classrooms, each equipped with associated restrooms.

The design utilized for these buildings is JL Modular’s proprietary model, pre-approved by the Division of the State Architect. This pre-approval facilitated faster approval and construction, ensuring minimal disruption to the school’s daily activities. The project showcases JL Construction’s commitment to delivering high-quality, efficient educational facilities in California, aligning with state programs that support modern, sustainable, and operationally effective school environments.
