Santa Rosa Junior College Petaluma Science Building

JL Modular, in partnership with JL Construction and Architect Brokaw Designs, proudly presents a cutting-edge 4,500 square foot science building designed to meet the needs of modern colleges. This project features an advanced L-shaped, steel-frame structure, perfectly suited for California’s educational institutions. The new facility includes a state-of-the-art chemistry lab, complete with five chemical fume hoods, safety showers, eyewash stations, and a reverse osmosis de-ionized (RODI) water system, ensuring a safe and efficient learning environment.

The building also houses a dedicated chemistry prep room, chemistry instrument room, anthropology classroom, and an all-gender restroom. The extensive outdoor teaching areas enhance the learning experience, providing versatile spaces for practical education. Selected through a rigorous design-build competition, JL Modular’s approach combined speed with cost-efficiency, ensuring timely delivery and exceptional value. Our modular construction methods allowed for a swift and economical build, aligning perfectly with the demands of modern educational facilities in California.
