Santa Rosa Junior College Features Two JLC, JLM Projects
At a recent report to the community Santa Rosa Junior College featured two projects JL Construction (JLC) is working on with its affiliate company JL Modular (JLM). As part of its Measure H General Obligation Bond Projects, the SRJC is adding three new modular science classrooms to its Petaluma Campus and building a new multi-purpose building at its Public Safety Training Center. Both projects were lauded by SRJC staff for their value and design.
The Petaluma Science Classrooms are based on JL Modular’s DSA prechecked classroom design with enhancements as dictated by the client. The architect is Brokaw Design with Carducci Associates as landscape architect.
In Windsor, CA, the new 7,335 square-foot, multipurpose building serves the Public Safety Training Center as an assembly area, practice area for tactical arts, and workout facility for firefighting trainees, and police cadets. JL Modular is the design builder with WLC Architects. Features include: mat rooms, operable partition, restrooms and covered walkway connecting it to the rest of the campus.
