High School/College Design-Build Modular Campus Underway
JL Modular’s latest project is a unique collaboration between San Jose Evergreen Community College District, and Milpitas Unified School District. The Joint-Use 21st Century Education Center provides 13,000 square feet of new classrooms and lecture halls for high school and college students.
The permanent modular classrooms are designed around a central courtyard and a Hub, to foster collaboration and learning. High School students will use the building during the day and the college students will use the building at night. The new building provides lecture classrooms, biology lab, robotics, technology and standard classrooms.
Designed to the USGBC LEED Silver green building standards, the building incorporates several sustainable and efficient building systems. The project delivery method is design-build.
