TK and Kindergarten Classrooms

Rex Fortune Elementary School, named for a late superintendent of the school district, Dr. Rex Fortune, opened with a ribbon cutting ceremony on August 7, 2023.
In six separate buildings JL Modular’s 35 classrooms range from TK and Kindergarten classrooms to, general education and STEAM classrooms. All 35 of the permanent modular classrooms feature state-of the-art educational and security elements including TV monitors, led lighting, and floor-to-ceiling whiteboards. The robotics classroom features garage-style folding doors so students can connect to the outside outside learning.
Using JLM’s DSA-prechecked classroom design JL Modular worked closely with architect AC Martin and site contractor Clark/Sullivan to deliver the school in time for the 2023 school year.

As part of a campus modernization JL Modular designed and built three kindergarten classrooms and associated sitework on this operating campus.

New permanent modular building featuring one TK classroom, two kindergarten classrooms, one Kids Care classroom, associated toilet rooms and a common kitchenette.

JL Modular built eight new general education and TK and Kindergarten classrooms as part of a portable replacement program for an expanding school district. The design is JL Modular’s Clerestory DSA prechecked design.

JL Modular built six permanent modular buildings as follows:
• Administration building: offices, staff lounge,conference room, restrooms, and other support services.
• Campus center building: library, conference rooms, restroom and other support services.
• Kinder Learning cluster: Four kinder learning studios with two learning commons, restrooms and other support services.
• Transitional Kinder building: One learning studio with unisex restroom.
• Elementary Learning clusters: Five learning studios, commons, offices, restrooms and other support services.

As part of a campus modernization JL Modular built six new modular classroom buildings at Lorin Eden Elementary School. They were designed with HY Architects using JLM’s DSA-prechecked plans. The buildings house the school’s administration offices, kindergarten and TK classrooms, standard classrooms, science classroom and restroom building.

To replace aging portable classrooms on the growing campus JL Modular built a new 18 classroom, 2-story building plus associated sitework and utilities under a lease-leaseback contract.
The new building features seven 1,200 square foot TK and Kindergarten classrooms plus 11 standard 960 square foot classrooms with restrooms throughout.

15-classroom, two-story classroom building on an existing elementary school site. The Project will include approximately 10,060 square feet of buildings, including 15 classrooms and associated site work. This is the second 2-story classroom building JL Modular has built on this campus.

Delivered via design-build, the $51 million TK-8th grade school was built on a 12-acre site by a partnership of JL Modular, Otto Construction and NMR Architects. Completed in 2021, the new two-story school features three buildings with 35 classrooms and an administration/ library building. It serves 850 students.

This project used permanent modular construction techniques, which combine the form and function of traditional site-built construction with the
speed and cost efficiency of the modular construction process. The steel-framed buildings were pre-fabricated in modular sections off-site that were transported to the site, erected and finished. This method helped shorten the overall construction schedule and kept costs down.

Built in 12 months on a fast-track schedule, Riego Creek is an entirely new school to accommodate Roseville’s growing population. JLC, in conjunction with JL Modular and DCA Architects, designed and built the school using JL Modular’s Prodigi21 DSA prechecked classroom design.

-28 classrooms plus associated restrooms, small group instruction rooms
-4000 square foot multipurpose building with warming kitchen and stage
