JL Construction Breaks Ground on New Public Safety Training Center Modular Multipurpose Building
JL Construction and affiliate company JL Modular recently broke ground on the new Santa Rosa Junior College Public Safety Training Center Modular Multipurpose Building in Windsor, CA. The new building will be constructed next to the current building, which is filled to maximum capacity.
JL Modular is the design builder with WLC Architects. Design build project delivery allows for a fast-track design and construction schedule, with completion slated for April 2019.
The new 7,335 square-foot, multipurpose building will serve the Public Safety Training Center as an assembly area, practice area for tactical arts, and workout facility for firefighting trainees, and police cadets. Features of the new building include:
- • mat rooms
- • operable partition that will allow two classes simultaneously
- • restrooms
- • covered walkway connecting the multipurpose building to the rest of the campus
